I need your opinion. Would you watch something like this?
I'm writing four or five films at once. (not a good idea) And one of them is Mr. Claus. It's an original screenplay about a parentless man, Chris Nelson, 38, who finds out that his birth father is Santa Claus. There's the classic holiday film with Tim Allen, which was the first Santa Claus, but the kid in that already knew that his dad was the new Santa Claus.
In this, Chris reluctantly writes to Santa for Christmas, asking for his father. And test results show that Chris Nelson is the birth son of Santa. And it's intentionally coincidental for his name to be Chris, while s father is known as Chris Crinkle. And then Chris and his wife, Alicia Arnold travel to the North Pole, so that Chris can see Santa.
Does this sound like a good holiday drama? A sad man who finds out that his father is Santa? It doesn;t sound like something I saw before.
